Evelyn Elzey, age 95, of West Jefferson, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Doctor's West Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was baptized at and regularly attended Cypress Wesleyan Church. Preceded in death by husband, Harry H. Elzey; son, Dale Elzey; sister, Geraldine "Bo" Witt; great grandson, Logan Tyler Elzey. Survived by daughter, Donna G. (David) Lyvers; grandsons, Todd Elzey, Troy (Cricket) Elzey, Christopher (Aimee) Corney, Scott (Sasha) Corney; great grandchildren, Madison (Joe) Van Dyne, Mallory and Kye Corney, Michael and Xander Elzey, and Eric, Ryan, and Leah Peck-Elzey; great-great grandson, Deklan Van Dyne; nephews, Larry and Gary Witt, and several more nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St. in West Jefferson, OH. Pastor Dale George officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
