Amanda Mam, age 33, passed away on Friday, June 19th, 2020 after a 5 week battle with Covid-19 at OSU Ross Heart Hospital. Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Noah Chindavong; sister, Alysa Mam; half brother, Ryan Phay; her father, Man Mam; father & mother in law, Saivan & Monkeo Chindavong; sister in law, Neda Chindavong, along with numerous family members including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mom Rina Phay; grandmother Champa Chhat; and nephew, Vannara Ryu Man. Amanda was born on February 22nd, 1987 in Dayton Ohio. Her family moved to Columbus Ohio when she was a little girl and she has since called Columbus her hometown. She attended and graduated from Fort Hayes High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Noah Chindavong. She would go on to marry the love of her life on June 24th, 2017. Amanda was a kind soul. She genuinely cared for and touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She had a heart of gold and would always be the first person to offer up her support. Her outgoing, funny, positive, forgiving, and generous personality made her special and made everyone want to be around her. She made it a priority to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling the world, singing, karaokeing, dancing, planning get-togethers, always being the life of the party. Her joyous laugh and beautiful smile always lit up the room and will truly be missed. Her memories will live on with us and she will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Tidd Funeral Home Plain City/Dublin Chapel, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, OH 43064, Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. Due to the current health situation, the family respectfully asks that visitors wear a mask and maintain the social distancing guidelines set by the CDC and the local health department.
