Betty Mckenzie

Betty L. McKenzie, age 89, born on May 8, 1927 and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Preceded in death by loving husband: Hubert (Mack) McKenzie (1970); Parents:
Alva & Hazel Bussard; Sisters: Mabel, Sarah Jane, Eileen, Virgie & Martha
Sue. Brothers: Alva Jr., John & Larry Dean.
Survived by: Daughter: Linda Walters; Grandchildren: Jerry (Cindy) Walters,
& Kevin & Todd Walters; Great Grandchildren: Kayli (Tim) Johnson, Bethany
(Corbin) Minnix, & Nicholas Walters & Great Great Grandson: Benjamin
Johnson. Survived also by Sisters: Donna & Maxiene & Brothers: Carl &
Earnest. Many nieces & nephews lovingly call her their "Aunt Betty".
She was a long-time resident of West Jefferson & although she moved to
Lincoln Village in 2001, West Jeff was always her home.
She grew up in the Apostolic Church & taught Sunday school for several
years. She practiced her faith daily. She loved the outdoors, nature,
plants, & especially children. Children she cared for love her yet today as
adults with children of their own. Visitation hours will be on Sun, May 15, 2016, from 2pm-6pm at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West main St., West Jefferson, OH 43162; where funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 16, 2016. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
