Beulah Ann Crompton

Beulah Ann (née Stuckey) Crompton passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, at the age of 87. Born in Plain City, Ohio, to Katherine and Richard Stuckey, she was the eldest of three siblings, preceding in death her brother Roger (Judy) and survived by her sister Janet (Andy) Starkey.

A devoted wife, Beulah married her childhood sweetheart, Bob Crompton, in September 1955 after graduating from West Jefferson High School. Together, they shared 58 wonderful years, dedicating their time and love to raising their four children: Andy (Joyce), Cate (Michele Risi), Sheri (Jim Mascolino), and Vicki (Steve LaBounty, deceased).

With Bob, Beulah was deeply involved in their children’s activities, contributing tirelessly to Little League Baseball and Football, Boy Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, and Baton Twirlers. She was an active and cherished member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she helped organize many events and participated in the Methodist Women’s Group.

Beulah’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a lasting legacy through her seven grandchildren—Craig, Richie, Nicole, Brian, Tom, Michael, and Marco—along with her 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and two great-great-grandchildren. Her unwavering love, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services:

Visitation will be held on FRIDAY, February 28, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.

A funeral service will take place on SATURDAY, March 1, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Big Plain Cemetery.

Following the service, a lunch will be provided by the ladies of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lilly Chapel. 

Beulah’s warmth and dedication to her family and community will be forever cherished.
