Beverly Pearce

It is with great sorrow that the family of Beverly J (Snyder) Pearce, West Jefferson, Ohio, age 81, announces her passing with her family at her bedside, on December 3, 2023, at Doctors Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on November 26, 1942 in West Jefferson to the late Clarence and Ethel (Deneca) Snyder.

Beverly is preceded in death by her father Clarence Snyder, her mother Ethel Snyder, and her son Danny R. Rodgers Jr. Bev is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Pearce, her sons David (Paula) Rodgers, Dennis (Diane) Rodgers, Duane Rodgers, and her daughter Darlene Annie Rodgers. Additionally, she is survived by brother Benjamin (Marcia) Snyder, sister Bessie Rodgers, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She graduated from West Jefferson High School and attended Columbus State Community College, studying poetry. After a career of 30 years, Beverly retired from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Happily married to husband Bob, Bev loved writing poetry and performing public readings of her poems, playing piano and being out in nature. She was an excellent gardener, and a lover of all flowers with roses being her favorite.

Visitation will be held at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St, West Jefferson, Ohio on Friday, December 15 from 4 PM to 6 PM, with a private service following at a later date, Pastor Ruth Pribe, WJ United Methodist Church officiating.
