Brian H. Mabey

Our beloved Husband, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Brother, and Uncle passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with failing health, in his home on November 9, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 1, 1948, as Brian Hartley Bishop to Harold “Don” and Catherine (Hartley) Bishop in Rexburg, Idaho.  He is the oldest of 7; Keith, Michael, Dennis (Christy), Gary (Brenda), Annette (Dave) Anderson, and Karen (Pete) Kuhn.

He married his high school sweetheart, Linda Marie Tucker on October 23, 1968.  The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 4, 1969.

He worked in the printing business at Paragon Press for 25 ½ years and at Quality Press for 7 ½ years.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Charles “Rex” Mabey, brother Michael, In-laws, Clyde and Lois Tucker, brothers-in-law Neil and Tim, and a sister-in-law Claudia.

Brian is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda. Children; Corey (Amy) Ohio, Douglas (Alanna) Utah, Steven (Jessica) Utah, and Tina (John) Hilbert Ohio. He has 11 Grandchildren; Mykle, Kasey, Brian “BJ”, Debi, Jason, Leslie, Courtney, Brianne, Alyx, Eric, and Jennica. 7 Great-grandchildren; Andre, Karsyn, Katerina “Katie”, Anthony, Beckett, Brian, Pheonix, and Baby Jellings expected in December.

In lieu of flowers, Brian would request donations to Children’s Hospital in his memory.
