Brookie Curry

Brookie Curry, age 82, of West Jefferson, Ohio, met her Savior on Saturday, December 4, 2021.  Born in Lenore, West Virginia to the later Stewart and Trinnie Davis, she was a graduate of Lenore High School.  Brookie married the love of her life, Jerome Curry, in 1962 and together they raised their family in West Jefferson.  In addition to her parents, Brookie was preceded in death by her five brothers and four sisters.  Brookie is survived by her beloved husband Jerome, her sons J.C. (Susan) Curry and Scott (Robyn) Curry, her grandchildren Jessica (Matthew) Click, Rylie (Brandon) Herren and Addison Curry, her great-grandchildren River Click, Braelon Herron, Juellz Herren and Kayne Herren, niece Brenda (Ronnie) Curry, brothers-in-law Arville Curry, Ronnie (Brenda) Curry, Denvil Curry, Pat (Teresa) Blankenship and Michael Blankenship, the many other loving members of the Davis and Curry Families, and her many friends.  Brookie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and cooking.  She was known by many for her exceptional peanut butter fudge.  Despite all of her hobbies, her favorite activity was spending her time with family.  Family will receive friends from 10:00a.m.-12:00Noon THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2021 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 12:00 NOON THURSDAY.  Burial will follow the service at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH.  If they choose, and in honor of her husband, friends may make memorial contributions to: Alzheimer’s Association Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215 or on-line www.alz.org.  Please visit www.radermcdonaldtiddfuneralhome.com to share your favorite memories of Brookie and to send your condolences to her family.
