Christopher "Chris" D. Ramsey

Christopher D. "Chris" Ramsey, Age 23, of West Jefferson passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his father Roy D. Ramsey and cousin Shane Ramsey.

Christopher is survived by his loving mother Michelle Ramsey, step-father Andrew Underwood, brothers: Joshua (fiancé Shawnelle Miller) Ramsey, Drew Underwood, Austin Underwood and nephew: Jolten Ramsey. Grandparents: Robert & Bobby Jean Ramsey, Connie Griffith, Mark & Becky Rucker and Karen & Rocky Lawrence. Great Grandparents: Jim and Marilyn Rucker and his long time girlfriend Lindsey Denes. Christopher had many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Christopher was a Graduate of WJHS Class of 2013. He was a dock worker at Fed Ex Freight where he had just been accepted into the driving program to obtain his CDL. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He loved football and he was a Captain of the WJHS football team when he was a senior.

Christopher was quite the handyman, he loved projects of all kinds and he was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He touched many lives because he never saw any bad traits in people. He never met a stranger or a person he didn't like.

The family will receive friends Sunday June 11, 2017, 1-4 PM at Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home 1355 West Main St., West Jefferson, Ohio 43162. A time of Memory Sharing will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM and friends are asked to bring your favorite Story to Share.

Keeping with the family's wishes cremation has been requested.
