Colleena S. McDowell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colleena (Moe) McDowell, a cherished sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, who passed away, surrounded by her family, on March 6, 2025 at Ohio Health, at the age of 57. She was born at Doctors West hospital on December 19, 1967.

Moe was known for her love of her team, Michigan and her deep love for all her family members. She loved to laugh and play jokes on her family. There was never a day that went by where there wasn't a chuckle coming from someone. Her passion for cars, diamond art and taking care of her family with her selfless love will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances (Jane) Kronk and her father, George Wayne Kronk Jr., her grandfather, Edwin (Paul) Rice and grandmother, Anna Marie Rice.

Moe is survived by her twin sister, Corinna (Cori) Cain, oldest sister, Melissa (Missy) McDowell, her baby sister, Lashell (Shelley/Dumpy) and Cary Lutz, her father and step mother, Charles and Brenda McDowell, nieces, Ashley Kronk, Keshia and Joel Buckland and Brittani (yaya) Cain, nephews, Caleb Jones and Noah Kronk, great nephew, Hayes Smith, great nieces, Naudia Garrett, Adelay (Addie) Hayes, Dehlilah (Bug) Hayes, Sadie Buckland, Miriam Collins, and Kaliope Buckland, her half brother, Jim McDowell and half sister, Brandy Arthur and step sister, and brothers, as well as the family dog, Penny.

The family invites family and friends for a visitation and funeral service on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162, with the visitation beginning at 11:00AM and ending at 12:00PM for the funeral service to begin immediately after at 12:00pm.  Following the service we will be processing to Alton Cemetery. Our pall bearers will be Cori Cain, Ashley Kronk, Shelley and Cary Lutz, Naudia Garrett and Brittani Cain.
