Dave Wayne Hayes

David Wayne Hayes, age 74, of Plumwood, OH, passed away peacefully at home, on July 30, 2024. He was born to the late Janie and Willis Hayes on March 3, 1950, in Urbana Ohio. 

Dave grew up in Plumwood and Rosedale and graduated from Fairbanks High School. He went on to begin his career at Ranco, where he spent 35 hardworking years and later retired from not only there, but also Intelligrated. His hobbies consisted of drag racing and anything with a motor. He will be greatly missed. 

 Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Janie and Willis Hayes, brothers, Roger (Sandy) Hayes and Charles (Joy) Hayes, and his sisters, Katie Cowgill, Rosie Angle, and Bonnie (Jim) Edwards. 

 He is survived by his daughter, Mykenzie Townsend, ex-wife, Paula Hayes, brother, Billy Hayes, and his granddaughter, who will be arriving soon, Paisleigh Jain Hayes. 

 The family will be receiving friends for visitation and funeral service on Saturday, August 3rd at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson, OH, 42162 beginning at 11:00 am for visitation and ending at 12:00 pm for the funeral service to begin.
