Devota B. "Bo" Beck

Devota B. "Bo" Beck, age 81, of West Jefferson, OH, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019.  Born in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Lucille and Russel Shoman, Bo retired from Capital Manufacturing Company after nearly 30 years of service.  She married Richard "Dick" Beck in 1957 and together they raised their family in West Jefferson.  Dick passed in 2010.  In addition to her husband and parents, Bo was preceded in death by her sisters Sandy (Ralph) Welker and Nicky Milligan and her brother Wynol Shoman.  She is survived by her daughter Terry Beck, her son Mark Beck, her grandchildren Chelsae Griffin and Shayne Beck, her great-grandson Xzander Griffin, sister Betty Swihart, brother Bill (Sandy) Shoman, brother-in-law Bob (Marilyn) Beck, brother-in-law Harold Milligan, sister-in-law Joanne Shoman, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Family burial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 12, 2019, at the Hampton Cemetery in West Jefferson, OH.  The Rader -McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West Main St., West Jefferson, OH 43162, assisted the family.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to The Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215 or online at: www.alz.org.
