Dolores Mae Breckenridge

Dolores Mae Breckenridge, age 94, of Columbus, Ohio, passed peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, February 23, 2023.  Born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Paul Frank and Roberta McBride, Dolores was a graduate of Columbus Central High School, Class of 1946.  Dolores was most proud to have worked at Nationwide Insurance as a Senior Life Accountant for 32 years before her retirement.  She was very involved with the American Rabbit Breeder’s Association and was a long-time volunteer with the Worthington Historical Society.  She loved genealogy, loved to travel and loved spending time with her family.  Dolores enjoyed watching sports and especially watching Tiger Woods play golf.  She was an all-around great Mom.  In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill Breckenridge, her sisters Donna Jean Bennett and Jackie Conkel, brother Jerry McBride and her granddaughter Sarah Bloxam.  She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Travis, Deanna Fox, Judy Cupp and Janet (Tom) Clark, her children Pam (Larry) Brown, Barbara (Kevin) Breckenridge Bloxam and Annette Jo Rickett, grandchildren Rob Brown, Greg (Stacy) Brown, Katy (Roger) Boggs, Bob (Cara) Bloxam and Ben (Norma) Rickett, great-grandchildren Justin Garza, Gabriel (Karine) Garza, Brett Brown and Hailey Brown, Kortney Grimm and Jake Grimm, Brandon Chavez, Catalina Pierre and Ryan Pierre, great-great-grandchildren Matais, Leo and Noah Garza and Alyna Garza,  her very special friend and hairdresser Cindy Gossard, many extended family members and friends, and her loving grand-doggie Millie. 

Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2023 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. TUESDAY with Reverend Phil Conrad, officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
