Donetta (Roark) Brock, 68, passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2025, at Doctors West Hospital. Donetta was born on May 23rd, 1956, in Ironton, Ohio, to Gaylord and Betty Roark. Donetta was a 1974 graduate of the West Jefferson High School and a long-time resident of West Jefferson, Ohio. Donetta was saved, baptized, and became a faithful member of the Alder Chapel United Baptist Church in West Jefferson, Ohio. She loved going to church, and spending time with her family, especially her four grandbabies. Donetta was truly a loving, caring, and giving person.
Donetta is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Forrest Brock Jr., One son Jason (Angie) Brock of Columbus, one son-in-law Scott Robinson of Hilliard, and her grandchildren Brody (and his fiancé Ashley), Taylor, Dillon (his girlfriend Michelle), and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Roark; in-laws Forrest and Bertha Brock; daughter, Jennifer Robinson; brother, Guy Roark; and sister Deretha Hackney. Donetta was a loving wife, mother and mamaw, she will truly be missed by everyone.
Visitation will be held at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162, on WEDNESDAY, March 5, 2025, from 5:00-8:00pm. Where a Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on THURSDAY, March 6, 2025, at 11:00am, Elders Robert Hackney, Jon Lykins presiding with Deacon Tim Eckard leading prayer. Burial will be in the Foster Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alder Chapel United Baptist Church, 8320 Morgan Road, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162, or to the West Jefferson High School Marching Band, 1 Roughrider Way, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162.
