Donna Marie (McNew) Grubb

Donna Marie (McNew) Grubb, age 60, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 20, 2024. Born in Big Spring, Texas to Ruth and Wendell McNew, Marie was a graduate of Columbus Independence High School, Class of 1981. Marie was a Dental Technician for many years and enjoyed working at Wendy’s at the Columbus Zoo for several years. She was preceded in death by her aunt Alice Anderson. Marie is survived by her son Christopher Grubb, her parents Ruth and Wendell McNew, brother Father Dwayne McNew, sister Patsy (Ryan) Cooper, niece Jeannie Kinder, nephew Aron Kinder, niece Alyssa Cooper; aunt Shirley (Ervin) Hiney, aunt Carole (Norm) Lavigne, uncle William (Pam) Viens, and their families, long-time friend and prayer companion Sr. Ruth Ann, and many other loving friends, including Laura Sanders. Donna Marie attended Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church in West Jefferson. 

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00a.m. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2024 at SAINTS SIMON AND JUDE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162 where family will receive friends before the Mass from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. Marie’s brother, Father Dwayne McNew, will celebrate the Mass.
