Eleanor C. Shaw

Eleanor C. Shaw, age 93, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away at home on Thursday, November 4, 2021.  Born in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late John and Alma Butler, Eleanor retired from Hart’s-Big Bear Warehouse after 20+ years of service.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband James C. Walbright, Sr., her second husband Gordon Shaw, daughter-in-law Debra S. Walbright and great-grandson Shane Ramsey.  She is survived by her children: Christina (Glen) Blevins, James C. Walbright, Jr., David B. (Candy) Walbright, Jane Ann (Bruce) Rudder, Thomas J. (Robin) Walbright, Mary K. Walbright, Gordon Shaw, Jr., Thomas A. (Denise) Shaw, Clifford James (Luanne) Shaw and Glenn D.  (Kathleen) Shaw, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, her sister Martha Wheeler and her brother John Edward Butler, Jr. and their families, nieces Barbara Rouff and Susan Hidegkuti, nephew Jeff Eddy and many friends.  Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2021 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00 p.m. FRIDAY.  Private family burial will be held.  Please consider a memorial contribution in Eleanor’s name to the American Cancer Society.  Please visit www.radermcdonaldtiddfuneralhome.com to share your favorite memories and to send your condolences to Eleanor’s family.
