Elsie May McKenzie

Elsie May McKenzie went to be with our Lord in heaven on December 17, 2020, in London, Ohio, at the age of 86. She was born in Pettry, West Virginia. Elsie lived a full life as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother with much love and loyalty to God, family, and many cherished friends. A major part of her life was her delight in selling Avon for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her dear parents James and Bertie (Wiley) McKenzie, adored brother and sister-in-law James (Sachiko) McKenzie, and spouses Edward Richesson, James Cunliff, and Robert Hypes, and step-son Chip Cunliff. Elsie is survived by her beloved children Timothy Richesson, Randy Richesson, Maryann (Mark) Russell, and step-daughter Pamela (Duane) Koons, her grandchildren Anjonette, Amy, Kari, Jason, Timothy Jr., James, Mollyann, Daniel, Savanah, Brittany, Randy Jr., Natalie, Ariel, Alea, many great-grandchildren, and her nieces Kim Wimer and Suzanne Arrick. Thanks warmly to Bluebird Retirement Community for their kindness and care. The family will receive friends Monday, December 21, 2020, from 9-11 AM, at Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, OH, 43162. There will be a private family graveside service and burial at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson.
