Freddie A. Braithwaite Sr., age 71, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his residence. Retired from Fishers Cast Steel after 35 years of service. Freddie was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Virgie Braithwaite; and 3 brothers. Survived by wife of 50 years, Jane; children, Teressa (Lisa) Braithwaite, Richard (April) Braithwaite, and Fred Jr. (Jan) Braithwaite; grandchildren, Heather, Joshua (Tiffany), Christy, Jessie, and Shelly; great grandchildren, Hunter, Owen, Katie, Emily, Braden, Travis, and Adelynn; sister, Annette; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends may call Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St. in West Jefferson, OH, where funeral service will be Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. Pastor Richard Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, W. Jefferson, OH.
