Garnett Hamilton

Garnette went to be with the Lord December 12th, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. She was born December 31st, 1949 to Morris and Edith Hamilton in West Jefferson Ohio. She attended West Jefferson High School and retired from Citi Bank LLC. She is preceded in death by parents Morris and Edith Hamilton and sisters Connie Hamilton-Ramsey and Patricia Hamilton-Sunderland. She leaves behind children Raymond Johnson, Jane ( Wesley ) Gilliam, and Stephanie Newsome, grandchildren James ( Merry) Karga, Brandy Gillam, Ashley ( Jason ) Ross, Wesley ( Morgan ) Gillam Jr, Paige Gillam, and Elizabeth Johnson. She also leaves behind great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Garnette lived life to the fullest. She loved animals of all kinds but had a special place in her heart for horses and dogs. She loved spending time with her dogs Dino and Casper and her weekends with her horse Donsella. She enjoyed horseback riding with son, granddaughters, and friends whenever she could. Garnette was happiest surrounded by her family and friends. Please join us for a Celebration of Life Saturday December 19th, 2015 from 1 to 3pm at Rader McDonald Funeral Home in West Jefferson Ohio.
