Gloria Faye Hild

Gloria Faye Grube Hild, 71, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away at home Saturday, November 13, 2021, following a brief illness.

Gloria was born July 9, 1950, in Springfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Mildred E. Grube. She lived in Utah and California before settling in West Jefferson. 

She was a previous veterinarian assistant and a licensed cosmetologist. 

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Norman Hild, one son, Jeffery (Paige) Smith of Logan, one brother, Mark (Judy) Grube of Englewood and 7 grandchildren, Zak (Syndi Penney) and Alix (Aaron Burge) Smith both of Grove City, Johnathan Mackie of Circleville, Mitchell (Christi) Harden of Lancaster, Lindsey (Eli) Shaw of Cincinnati, Kristen and Deven Harden of Logan and great-grandson Jude Shaw of Cincinnati. 

Gloria enjoyed reading, camping, and GNO bible study groups.  She loved playing board games with her family and gardening.  She was active in activities for the Faith Mission and believed in their devotion to service of the homeless people in her community.  

Celebration Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 4^th, 2021, at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd funeral home at 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162, with Pastor Eli Shaw officiating.
