Harold Gene Cordle

Harold Gene Cordle, age 74 of West Jefferson, OH, was surrounded by his loving family when he was called home to be with his Heavenly Father, on Friday, May 14, 2021. He attended Hickory Grove United Baptist Church and retired from Jefferson Industries with 22 years of service. Gene was an avid gardener and he loved to see that others were blessed with what he grew in his garden, he enjoyed hunting, and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Gene is preceded in death by his father Jr. Cordle, mother Ida Cordle, and brother Ron Cordle. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wanda Cordle; children, Rick (Linda), of Urbana, OH., Ann (Cy) Miller, of Saint Joseph, IL., Tim (Julie) of New Straitsville, OH., Tammy (Rich) King, of West Jefferson, OH., Tony (Missy) of London, OH., and Terry (Angie), of London, OH.; brothers, Ralph, Jack, Johnny, Darrell, David and Jesse; sisters, Molly, Kay, and Ruth Ann; grandchildren, Ricky (Jessica) Cordle, Kadie Cordle, Shawna Cordle, Michael Cordle, Johnny (Katie) Cordle, Billy Cordle, Tonya Coburn, Patrick Allen, Tasha (Josh) Iams, Dallas Cordle, Anna Cordle, Mollie King, Tabitha King, Sierra King, Ryan King, Danielle (Josh) Ekin, McKenna Cordle, Anthony Cordle, Allyson Cordle, Aimee Cordle, and Ayden Cordle; great-grandchildren, Lila, Maya, and Zoey Cordle, Adleigh Hagie, Sophia Cordle, Baylen Cordle, Reagan Coburn, Trent Iams, Clynton and Jensyn Roe, Savannah Ekin, Sarai Huddleston, and Zuri Scales. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from 4-7 PM, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, OH, 43162. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairfield Township Cemetery, in Big Plain.
