Ira S. Gillian

Ira S. Gillian, age 64, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was the son of the late Walter and Edith (Casto) Gillian. Ira was employed at Jefferson Industries, in West Jefferson, Ohio. He enjoyed spending time with his family and recycling.

He is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Edith Gillian; and brother Richard Gillian; sisters, Janet Oyer, and May Meadows.

Ira is survived by his children, Amanda Gillian, Ira Lee Gillian, Andrea (Jacob) Hayes, and Clayton Rhoden; grandchildren, Jacob, and Riley; sisters Jane Braithwaite, Brenda Morris; special nephew, Richie Braithwaite, his partner in crimes; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-12 (Noon), Wednesday, July 27, 2022, where Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 12 Noon, at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH, 43162.

In honoring Ira’s wishes cremation will follow the services.
