Jean Phipps

Jean Phipps, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. She was born on August 28, 1950, to the late George and Ella (Reedy) Stanley.

Jean was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma.  She spent more than 30 years at the Limited Brands, was an avid golf fan, jeopardy fan and oh boy did she love her country music.  Jean had a special gift for being able to listen for hours about anything you wanted to talk about. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Phipps, her parents, George and Edna Stanley, brother, George Ray Stanley, sister, Connie Smith, grandsons, Shawn Bolzenius and Ethan Jacobsen, and daughter-in-law, Kelly Triplett.

Jean is survived by her children, Dennis, Bryan, and Ronnie (Misty) Phipps, sister, Lois (Roland) Phipps, brother, Donald Stanley, grandchildren, Heather Jacobsen, Abbygail Phipps, and Tanner and Tessla Matthews, and her 3 great granddaughters and great-grandson. 

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, December 3rd at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W. Main St, West Jefferson, OH, 43162 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.  We will gather back at the funeral home the following morning on Wednesday, December 4th for a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00am and with the go in procession to Oak Grove Cemetery, 8250 Alkire Rd, Galloway, OH, 43119.
