Jessica A. Skaggs

Jessica Ann Skaggs was born on February 14^th, 1993 in Columbus, Ohio. She tragically passed away June 17^th, 2020 at the young age of just 27. She was a 2011 graduate of West Jefferson High School. She was a long-time resident of West Jeff where she was employed at Flyer”s Pizza for the past 4 years. Her dream was to go back to school and finish her veterinarian degree. Her greatest accomplishment was her son. She had devoted her whole life to taking care of him. She would do anything in the world for her family. She loved being an Aunt. She especially loved being a mother to her sweet boy who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandparents James and Maggie Skaggs, her great-grandparents Melvin and Connie Dull, and several other loved ones. She is survived by her 2 year-old son, Xavier Alan, her parents Kathy Anderson (Mike) of Columbus and David Skaggs of West Jefferson, siblings David (Monica) Skaggs of Columbus, Samantha Skaggs (Marcus) of Mount Sterling, Riley Skaggs (Mackenzie) of Cardington, and Cheyenne Skaggs (Chance) of Cardington, grandparents Carol Alexander of Columbus and John (Rose) Alexander of Columbus and step-grandma Holley Rutherford, step-sisters Destiny Hendrixson and Ashley McCabe, niece Emma Jo and unborn nephew Remington Skaggs.  She was blessed with a bonus family: bonus Mom Tracy Price, the Biddles Lonnie, Kathy, Tyler, Anna and Alexis, also Lori McKean, her best friend Mkayla Brown of Columbus, and many uncles, aunts cousins, and friends.  Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. WEDNESDAY at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 where her Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2020 with Pastor Larry Baker, officiating.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, OH.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to make a memorial donation to Todd's Pizza in West Jefferson where a fund has been established to assist in the up bringing of her child Xavier.  Please leave your favorite memory of Jessica on this webpage or send your condolences to her family. www.radermcdonaldtiddfuneralhome.com.
