Joan Frericks

Joan Frericks, age 89, of Galloway, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Doctors Hospital. She was a devout Catholic and she attended morning mass at SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church in West Jefferson. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary Stuber, husband Alfred Frericks, daughter Gretchen, sisters Marge Cusick, and Madeline McCormick and brother Robert Stuber. She is survived by her children, Julie Rich, John Frericks and Joseph (Alicia) Frericks; grandchildren: Amanda Rich, Lee Rich, Maria Frericks, Theresa Frericks, Zachary Halbach and Trevor Halbach; great grandchildren: Allison, Hayley, and Benjamin; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 a.m. TUESDAY, MARCH 7, 2017 at SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162 where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. with Father William Metzger, Celebrant and Father Bob Penhallurick, Con-celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, Ohio. 43214.
