John Alan "Johnny" Bayer, age 44, of West Jefferson, Ohio, went to Heaven on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Johnny was a faithful parishioner of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #11224. He is survived by his parents Jim and Mary Bayer of West Jefferson; siblings: James (Paige) Bayer of West Mansfield, OH, Beth (Mark) Taylor of West Jefferson, Joseph (Theresa) Bayer of London, OH, Christine (Scott) Cramblett of London and Daniel (Julia) Bayer of South Vienna, OH; 15 nieces and nephews, 8 great-nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00p.m. THURSDAY at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00a.m. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2016 at STS. SIMON AND JUDE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162 with The Reverend William Metzger, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in West Jefferson.
