John Frederick Ell

John Frederick Ell, age 78, of West Jefferson, Ohio, went to Heaven on Sunday, June 20, 2021 while at home.  He retired from the State of Ohio, Bureau of Worker’s Compensation on February 29, 1996 after 34 years of service.  John was a veteran of the United States Army, Intelligence Bureau serving during the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by his parents Horace and Martina Ell, and his brother Jim Ell.  John is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Ell, his son Shawn (Shannon) Ell, his daughter Julie (Keith) Baldwin and grandchildren: Avery and Reilly Ell and Elena and Alex Baldwin.  Family will receive friends from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 2021 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. THURSDAY with Pastor Larry Baker, officiating.  If they choose, friends are asked to consider a memorial contribution to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
