John H. Lawrence

John H. Lawrence, age 89, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Logan Elm Care Center in Circleville, Ohio. He is survived by his sons Tim (Carol) Lawrence of Mt. Sterling and Steve Lawrence of Columbus; grandchildren: Travis (Jen Smith) Lawrence of London, Ohio and Amy (Bill) Fowls of Hilliard, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Hannah Fowls, Haleigh Fowls and Liam Fowls; former spouse Nova Lawrence of Columbus; sister Marie Winfield of Baltimore, Ohio; brother Bill (Brenda) Lawrence of Corliss, WV and their families. John was preceded in death by his son Patrick Joe Lawrence and good friend Claire Lucille Russell; and many friends. John was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and the United States Army. He was a member of West Jefferson VFW Post #7005 and a former member of Northern Indiana-Ohio Chapter of Hudson Essex Terraplane Club. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162 (614)-879-9222 and from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. THURSDAY, MARCH 23, 2017 where his Funeral Service will follow at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Jim Blankenship, officiating.
