John Mader

John Mader age 83 passed away June 10, 2016 at home with his family after a long battle with cancer. John was a US Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed cars and he was a avid tinkerer and storyteller. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Carl Mader. Daughter Kimberly and son Mark .Siblings Norma Jean ,Paul ,Carl Jr., Doris and Mary. He is survived by his loving wife of many years Phyllis. Children John Jr (Kim) Mader, Thomas (Sue) Mader, Edward (Jimelle) Mader . Siblings Mike ,Gary ,Linda and Frances. Grandchildren Christopher ,Jonathan ,Jesse ,Matthew, Kayleigh, Jacob . Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of good friends .Family will receive friends 5 - 7 on Tuesday June 14th at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home 1355 W. Main St. W., Jefferson. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 AM June 15th. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American cancer society.
