John "Rusty" Sayre

John “Rusty” Sayre, age 59, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. John enjoyed hunting, and fishing, and he was an avid gun enthusiast, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Rusty was a proud Army Veteran and served in Desert Storm. 

He is preceded in death by his father Henry Sayre. 

Rusty is survived by his mother Janice Sayre, and mother-in-law Hazel Elwood; his loving wife Lori Sayre; daughter Andrea Sayre, and step-son’s Tim Putman, Michael (Tia) Miller, and Shawn Miller; sister Crystal (Don) Sayre; grandchildren Natalie (Tanner) Miller, Hunter Miller, Kierra Putman, Madison Miller, Savannah Miller; numerous great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, along with his favorite aunt Betty Painter, and favorite uncle Lincoln Shinn; and nephew Jason Kellison. 

The family will receive friends for Visitation on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH, 43162. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
