John P. Spurgeon

John P. Spurgeon, age 77 of London, OH passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018. John was an avid fan of the Buckeyes, Brown's and Nascar racing, he loved bowling and tinkering on his truck and John was very proud of his daughters and serving in the Army. He is preceded in death by his parents John H. and Lois Spurgeon and daughter Tonya Jo Spurgeon. John is survived by his loving wife Janice Spurgeon of 54 years, children Kathy (Tom) O'Rock, Jeanne (Phillip) Bock, Nicki (Kevon) Duey, Rochelle (Shane) Smith, Terrisa (David) McCoy, Sarah (Dave) Long, 2 brothers David (Joyce) Spurgeon and James (Judy) Spurgeon and sisters in-laws Charlotte (Jerry) Miller, Donna Conrad, and Julia (William) Canaday, 28 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends Friday, May 18, 2018 5:00-7:00 PM at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 1355 W. MAIN ST. WEST JEFFERSON, OH 43162. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hampton Cemetery.
