Judy "Granny" Johnson

Judy “Granny” Johnson, age 76, of West Jefferson, Ohio, went to be with the Lord while at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 25, 2021.  Born in Scioto County, Ohio, Judy was a graduate of Portsmouth East High School, Class of 1962.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Urbana, Ohio.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Laura Brown, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Rose and Virgil Johnson, brothers-in-law John Johnson, Paul Hammonds and Jim Groh.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Ray Johnson, her children Judy (Eric) Vogelsang and John (Tasha) Johnson, grandchildren: Bobbie (Dave) Elliott, Nichole Clifton, Shane (Destiny) Johnson, Cody (Tracey) Johnson, Leenna Landis, Stephen (Jamie) Vogelsang, James Vogelsang, Meghan (Brad) McHenry and Kate (Tyler) Vogelsang, her great-grandchildren: Trenton, Lyndsay, Hayden, Landen, Avery, DeQuane, Mia, Harleigh, Kenzleigh, Zayden, Rileigh, Reagan, Megan, Layla, Kassidie, Waylon, Wyatt, Sophia, Rozlyn, Wrenlee, brother Henry (Sue) Brown, sister Ramona (Robert) Chamberlin, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Don (Louise) Johnson, Wanda Hammond, Ronnie (Sandy) Johnson and Joyce Groh, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28, 2021 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. WEDNESDAY.  Pastor Aaron Samples will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Dennison Chapel Cemetery.  A Special Thank You to the Third Floor Doctors and Nurses of Doctor’s West Hospital for their wonderful, compassionate care of Mom.  Thank you!  Please note: Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Social Distancing will be observed and guests are required to wear a Facial Covering while at the Funeral Home and the Cemetery.  Please share your favorite memories of Judy on this webpage or send your condolences to her family:  www.radermcdonaldtiddfuneralhome.com.
