Karen Sue Miller

Karen Sue (Banks) Miller, 65, of West Jefferson, OH earned her wings on March 31st, 2023 after a long, hard fought battle to Stiff Persons Syndrome. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Karen was born on March 6, 1958 in Cincinnati, OH. She was married to the love of her life Mark Miller for 33 years and have 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and one great grandchild together. She enjoyed being involved in her community, being surrounded by nature, gardening, traveling, and, most importantly, making memories with her family.

Karen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her father, Goebel Banks, and mother, Dolly Armstrong. She is survived by her husband, Mark Miller,  her mother-in law Virginia Miller, father-in-law Warren Miller, her sister Sharon Bretz, her brother Wayne Banks; her children Rebecca (Keith) Porter, Charles (Jenn) Sharp, Sarah (Pete) Beardmore, Jessica (Eric) Walker, Cassandra (Adam) Miller, Matthew (Sarah) Miller, and Elizabeth (Michael) Johnson; her grandchildren Ryan (Kate), Colton, Benjiman, Charly, Alexis, April, Evan, Bradley, Wrigley, Jameson, Oskar, Maddox, Caedence, Keegan, Liam, Crosley, Scarlett, and her great grandson Finn.

The family would like to share their deep gratitude to Loving Care Hospice & Home Health for taking such tender care in helping Karen gain her wings with comfort and peace. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Loving Care Hospice and Home Health.

Please join us in celebrating Karen’s life on Thursday, April 6th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Rader-McDonald-Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 W Main Street, West Jefferson, OH. The family will end with a short memorial service 7:30-8:00pm.
