On Thursday, December 24, 2020, Kenneth Wells Jackson, loving husband, father of four children, and grandfather of nine grandchildren (10th due in Feb) passed away at age 75.
Ken was born on September 28, 1945 in Bluffton, OH to Kenneth Francis and Mary Ellen Wells Jackson.
He was employed by Ball Corporation for 37 years. He held multiple positions of significant responsibility related to product development and manufacturing both in the United States and abroad. On May 5th, 1974, he married Andrea Marie Thurkins. They raised three daughters, Patricia, Lynn, and Kristin, and one son Kenneth Andrew.
Ken had a passion for working his land and was the dog whisperer, loved by all four-legged friends. He was also an avid Johnny Cash and Elvis lover and collector of anything Harley Davidson or Corvette. His most cherished passion was his family. He loved supporting his children and later his grandchildren's sports and extra-curricular activities and he never missed an Oktoberfest. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Ken was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, his mother, Mary Ellen, and his brother Robert Bartlet. He is survived by his wife Andrea, his four children, Patricia (Ryan, Lyndsey, Jackson, Lauren), Kenneth Andrew (Kenneth and Benton), Lynn (Lexi, Ava and Jason Jr.), and Kristin (Arthur, Olive and baby boy), his sisters Mary Francis and Carol Ann as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Any donations may be made in his name to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, ASPCA, to help support his love towards animals. aspca.org
