Lester L. Phillips

Lester L. Phillips age 87 of West Jefferson, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Lester graduated from Franklin University, retired from Westinghouse, and was a 32 Degree Mason. Lester was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a member of the Amity Enterprise Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Doris Jean Phillips, 3 brothers Charles, Carl and Conley, sister Evelyn, and son in-law Glenn Brumfield. He is survived by his daughter Marlene Brumfield and son Larry (Christine) Phillips. Lester is also survived by his sisters Pauline Wheeler, Christine Boggs and Norma June Wiler, his grandchildren Katie (Aaron) Kelly, Kara Phillips and great grandchildren William and Michael Kelly along with several nieces and nephews. Lester will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. at RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.
