Logan Matthew Jester

After a long courageous battle, it is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Logan Matthew Jester, 21, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Logan was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him, always bringing laughter, kindness, and an unwavering desire to help others.

Logan was a graduate of Teays Valley High School, class of 2022. Logan was a proud Firefighter employed at Tri-County Joint Fire Department and an honorary firefighter at Jefferson Township Fire Department. 

Logan’s greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends, whether hanging out at Ashville Nutrition, the firehouse, Cypress Church, or playing video games online. He loved attending concerts, playing pickleball, gathering around bonfires, and pushing himself in CrossFit, running, and workouts. His heart for service was evident in everything he did, from being a dedicated firefighter to working at the church, always seeking to serve the Lord in every way possible.

Logan could recite nearly every scene from The Office, and loved making people laugh and smile. His generosity and compassion knew no bounds—he always went out of his way to lift others up, offer a helping hand, and brighten someone’s day.

He had an undeniable love for the Philadelphia Eagles. From their recent Super Bowl victory to their steadfast support and special invitation to join them in person this past holiday season, "The Birds" brought immense joy to Logan's life.

Logan’s legacy of love, faith, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roger Williams and Roger Jester. He is survived by his loving parents, Andy and Wendy Jester, grandmothers, Billie Williams, Diane Jester, and Margie Jester, great grandmothers, Norma "Nannie" Williams, and Patricia Vandermark. Aunts and Uncles, Roger (Missi) Jester, Jamie (Carrie) Hartsaugh, Jennifer (Scott) Behrendt, Roger Williams, Stephanie Jester, Tiffany Delong, Geoff Delong. Cousins, Tyler (Madison) Jester, Megan (Zach) Thomas, Reese Hartsaugh, Riley Hartsaugh, Olivia Behrendt, Parker Behrendt, Trace Williams, Xander Williams, Synthia (Chris) Jester, Caleb Wears, Cayden Kocher. Second Cousins, Tate, Trae & Millie Jester, and Leia Thomas, along with a community of friends who cherished him dearly.

A celebration of Logan’s life will be held on WEDNESDAY, March 5, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at CYPRESS CHURCH, Alton Darby Campus, 377 Alton Darby Creek Road, Galloway, OH 43119, where we will come together to honor the incredible person he was. A Funeral Service will take place at the church the following day on THURSDAY, March 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. Burial services will follow at Heavenly Hills Cemetery, 17554 Little Walnut Rd, Circleville, OH 43113.

Though Logan’s time with us was far too short, his impact will last forever. His laughter, kindness, and unwavering faith will never be forgotten.
