Margaret E. Ortlieb

Margaret E. Ortlieb, age 82, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017. Born in London, Ohio, she and her family were long-time residents of West Jefferson. Margaret began her career as a Practical Nurse and later began a long career working at Lincoln Lodge and later the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the service industry. She was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Joseph Sexton and her siblings Jimmy Sexton, Mary Belcher, Charlie Sexton and Patricia Duffy. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Jerome Ortlieb, her children: Theresa (Phil) Elizondo of Livermore, CA, Jerry (Becky) Ortlieb, Dean (Karol) Ortlieb and Rhonda (Steve) Lukie, all of West Jefferson; her grandchildren: Philip (Kelli) Elizondo, Michelle (Ben) Commons, Janette (Austin) Wilson, Sarrah (Daniel) Figueroa, Chris (Debbie) Ortlieb, Stacy (Chris) Moore, Katie Ortlieb, Nathan Ortlieb, Josh (Kenzie) Lukie, Zack Lukie and Veronica Lukie; her great-grandchildren: Gavin, Charlotte, James, Olivia, Lilly, Amos, Levi, Claire, Ellie, Mari and MJ; sisters: Frances Murphy and Dorothy (Donnie) Henry; and long-time friends Judy and Bob Jones of London. Margaret's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00a.m. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2017 at ST. PATRICK ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH,61 S. Union Street, London, OH 43140, the same church where she was baptized, confirmed and married. Her family will receive friends at the church on Friday before Mass beginning at 10:00a.m. Father Mark V. Ghiloni will celebrate the Mass and Deacon Joe Knapke will be the Homilist.
