Marilyn J. Allen, age 94, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born January 27, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Fred and Reha (Callaghan) Studeman. She retired from Jefferson Local Schools where she was a bus driver for 17 years and was a member of the Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church in West Jefferson, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Arnold Allen whom she married on August 27, 1948, daughter Christine Roncoroni, and her parents Fred and Reha Studeman.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Charlotte Haskins of Swanton, OH, and Patrick Allen of Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Eric Oakes, Amanda Oakes, Paul Smith, Reha Roncoroni, Tonya Coburn, Patrick Green, and Tasha Iams; 4 great-grandchildren, Gunnar Oakes, Grace Oakes, Reagan Coburn, and Trent Iams.
The family will welcome friends from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OHIO, 43162. Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the SAINTS SIMON AND JUDE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, Ohio, with Rev. Father Robert Kitsmiller as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 9350 High Free Pike, or Ohio living Hospice at https://www.ohioliving.org/foundation/donate
