Mary Esther Brooke

Mary Esther Brooke, age 92 of Columbus, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. Mary is a member of the West Jefferson United Methodist Church, and former organist, she is a graduate of Otterbein University with a BA in music, former member of The Harmonetts singing group. Mary was a music and voice teacher for West Jefferson Local Schools. She is retired from Prudential Insurance as an Administrator. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Clara (Taylor) Peters and loving husband George of 57 years who passed in 2007. Mary is survived by her daughters Barbara Holzer of Indianapolis, Indiana and Janice (Barry) Fonarow of Columbus. The family welcomes friends to join them from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Celebration Of Life Service to follow at 11:00 AM at the West Jefferson United Methodist Church 36 S.
