Paul E. Day

Paul E. Day, age 55 passed away at his home on April 6, 2020. He was born on June 15, 1964 to the late David S. and Lela (Alspaugh) Day. He was employed by Horton Emergency Vehicles and was a member of the State Route 38 Church of Christ.  Paul was an avid and experimental cook. He loved making up new recipes and never met an ingredient that he couldn't use. He will be remembered as a guy who could always bring a smile if not a belly laugh.  Paul enjoyed fishing with friends and loved animals, especially Beagles.

 

He is survived by his siblings, Linda Day of Mt. Sterling, OH, Wayne (Dee) Day of Kearney, MO, and Jack (Joy) Day of Heath, OH.  Also surviving are nieces Megan Day of Kearney, MO and Kaitlyn Day of Hebron, OH, great-niece Marleigh and great-nephew Macklin. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to your local animal shelter.

 

A graveside service and burial for Paul will be held on July 18, 2020 at 11:30AM in Mt. Sterling, Ohio at Pleasant Cemetery, 14220 Era Rd, Mt Sterling, OH 43143.
