Raymond Eugene Miller

Raymond E. Miller, age 88, of West Jefferson, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12:54 p.m. surrounded by his 4 loving daughters. Born September 15, 1928 in Columbus, OH to the late Edward and Nell Miller. Proud graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1946. Retired from Battelle. Avid Buckeye and Roughrider Fan, but loved most to attend his grandchildren's activities. Preceded in death by wife of 42 years, Betty; parents, Edward and Nell Miller; brothers, Edward, Claude, and Robert; sisters, Laura and Betty; nephew, Tim. Survived by daughters, Pam (Neal) Ater, Cathy Brush, Libby (Grant) Roy, and Kelly (Kory) Saddler; grandchildren, Sara, Nathan, Molly, Lea, Rachel, Drew, Austin, Melissa and Ethan; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; devoted sister, Marjorie Thomas, and many nieces and nephews that all loved him dearly. Friends may call Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St. in West Jefferson, OH, where funeral service will be Wednesday, March 1, at 11 a.m. Vicki Germann officiating. Interment Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, OH. His sweet, kind spirit touched everyone who knew him.
