Rick John McQuirt

Rick John McQuirt, Born March 30, 1963 went home to the Lord May 12, 2018.  He was the son of Danny and Martha McQuirt. Rick is survived by sisters Karen (Bill) Hawkins, Dianna (Wendell) Chapman and Danise (John) Corriveau, brothers Danny (Patty) McQuirt and Bob Coldren, children Ross, Ashley, and Josh McQuirt and Ricky Politis, Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family members who preceded him in death are parents, brothers Dale and Mark Coldren, sister Kathy Pabst. Survived by special friends Jimmy and Diane Peterman, Joyce Wallace and Su Wheeler. He was loved by many and will be missed by all including Jada Bug. He attended West Jefferson High School, delivered the Citizen Journal, worked at Darby Dan Farm and Beulah Park Race track and many others. Rick was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Jefferson. He was passionate about his horse named Cat, horse racing, fishing, boating, jet skiing, and  camping, loved being in the sun, swimming in the pool with his flip flops on and his dogs Mickey, Peanut and Toby. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and special sister Danise devoted her life to Rick. Rick and his sister Danise were better known as Ricky and Little Ricky. Rick Loved the Lord. The family will receive friends at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH 43162, Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 18 at 12:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to funeral service. Interment will follow at Somerford Township Cemetery.
