Rita A. Davis

Rita A. (Chafffins) Davis, age 71, of Plain City, OH, went to the Lord while at home on Friday, July 3, 2020.  Born in Little White Oak, KY to the late Orpha and Isaac Chaffins, Rita was also preceded in death by her sister Kathy Corwin.  She is survived by her brother Gaylord (Deborah) Chaffins of West Jefferson, OH, daughter Michelle (David) Jenness of London, OH, son Kevin (fiancé, Amanda) Davis of London, her beloved grandchildren: Korbyn, Kaileagh and Brogan Davis, her former spouse Larry Davis of London, her nephews: Chris Chaffins, Chad Chaffins, Nathaniel Corwin and Joshua Corwin, and her many friends.  Rita was a long-time member of Community Freewill Baptist Church in West Jefferson.  She was a proud member of the United Auto Workers union and retired from Core Materials Corporation after 27 years of service.  Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00p.m. TUESDAY at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 where her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. WEDNESDAY, JULY 8, 2020 with Pastor Jerry Newman, officiating.  Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Social Distancing will be observed and guests are asked to wear a facial covering while at the funeral home.
