Robert Fischer Jr.

Robert Fischer Jr., age 60 of West Jefferson, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He graduated from London High School, Class of 1975. Robert was a member of the Plain City United Methodist Church, he enjoyed singing in the choir, country music and cooking. He was active in the community and enjoyed helping others. Robert spent his time volunteering at the Loving Care Hospice and the West Jefferson Good Samaritan Food Pantry. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law Luther Gaffney and brother-in-law Joe Beery. Robert is survived by his parents: Robert and Dolores Fischer, his loving wife Christy of 41 years and son Jason B. Fischer, sister Patty Beery and brother Ken Fischer, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, December 17, 2017 at RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH 43162. The funeral will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 18, 2017 at the WEST JEFFERSON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 36 S. CENTER STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH 43162. Funeral service officiated by Pastor Keene. Interment will follow at the Deer Creek Cemetery, Lafayette, OH.
