Robert Hawk

Robert F. Hawk, age 87, of Galloway, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Doctor's W. Hospital. Born May 12, 1929 in Gallipolis, OH to the late Fred and Mary (Eggleton) Hawk. Retired Designer and Machinist from Jefferies Mining and Manufacturing with over 20 years of service, and also from Battelle with 22 years service. Avid trap shooter, and enjoyed working on old cars and gunsmithing. Preceded by wife, Alice Hawk; brother-in-law, Lloyd R. Haskins. Survived by siblings, Naomi Haskins, Raymond (Grace) Hawk, and Ruth Anne (Jerry) Evans; brothers-in-law, James (Patty) Leach, Dick (Katy) Leach and Donald Leach; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends, especially in the trap shooting world; special canine companions, Pookie and PeeWee. Friends may call Friday, October 21, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St. in West Jefferson, OH, where funeral service will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Alton Cemetery.
