Robert W. Kile

Robert (Bob) Wilgus Kile, 66, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on January 24, 2025.

Bob was born on April 7, 1958, to parents John and Mary Lee Kile. After graduating from West Jefferson High School in 1976, he went on to study law at Ohio Northern University. Bob worked as an attorney for four years in West Jefferson before pursuing other careers. In the last four years of his life, Bob worked as the building substitute at Hamilton Township Schools, where he enjoyed working with many different students and forming connections that he was very proud of.

Bob had a deep love for the stage, whether performing or directing. He was an avid runner, having participated in cross-country and track in high school and college. Bob was also very involved in the All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir. He cherished spending time with his family during the holidays and loved getting together with friends to watch football (Go Saints!). Bob also enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons weekly with his son and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, John Kile; his uncle, Robert Brown; and his grandfather, Weldon Brown.

He is survived by his companion, Kim Kyle; his mother, Mary Kile; his sister, Lydia (Kirk) Keller; his son, Remy (Shelby) Brommer; his granddaughter, Millie Brommer; and his nieces, Amanda Appel and Sarah (David) Games.

Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on THURSDAY, February 6, 2025, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. MAIN STREET, WEST JEFFERSON, OH, 43162.
