Robert Lee Rogers, “Bob” age 84, of London, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was a longtime member of Westside Christian Church, Coffeyville KS where he was an elder. He had a special attachment to London Baptist Church and Hilliard Church of Christ. United States Navy Veteran serving during Korea, where he was attached to the US Marine Corps as a medic. Robert retired from John Deere. Preceded in death by parents Hulett and Hazel Rogers, in-laws Arthur and Irene Fields, 3 brothers Don, Dale and Phil, sons-in-law Michael Richardson and Denis Gallagher. Survived by loving wife of 62 years Carol, children Terri Barnhart-Richardson, Sue Gallagher (Kevin) and Shannon Gallagher (Dann), brother David Rogers (Beverly), sister Joyce Ogden, grandchildren Rob (Danielle) Barnhart, Greg (Emili) Barnhart, Tyler (Hilary) Barnhart, Caleb (Carrie) Barnhart and Ryan McCullough, 10 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 5 nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Rader – McDonald – Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162. Funeral Service will be held 11:00a.m. Wednesday, January 30., 2019 at the Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Interment with Military Honors will be held 2:30p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery, London, OH.
