Ronald E. Howard

Ronald E. Howard, age 83, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home under hospice care on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Born in Urbana, Ohio to the late Merrill and Eleanor Howard, Ron was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, Class of 1959 where he was a member of the football team. Ron was a life-long farmer in West Jefferson and he also farmed in Milford Center, Ohio where he made many friends and belonged to a wonderful euchre club. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jen Howard, his son Dan (Amy) Howard, daughters: Regina (David) Music, Debbie (Bill) Williams, and Lora (Jon) Cotton, his grandchildren: Mitchell Howard, Cole Howard, Kyle Howard, Sara (Tony) Mock, Sean (Sheri) Music, Amanda (Chris) Gore, Chad (Lauren) Miller, Julie (Scott) Hockenbery, Jess (Michelle) Williams, Jake (Misty) Williams, and Ryan (Amanda) Evans, 19 great-grandchildren, sister Kay (Bob) Scott and their family, sisters-in-law: Donna Ries and Bonnie Beavers, and their families, and many loving friends.

Family will receive friends from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2024 at the RADER-MCDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 West Main Street, West Jefferson, OH 43162 (614)-879-9222 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. FRIDAY with Pastor Larry Baker, officiating. Private family burial will be held immediately afterwards at Oak Grove Cemetery, Georgesville, Ohio.
