Rose Dazey

Rose M. Dazey (87) of West Jefferson, OH passed away suddenly in her home on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Rose was born in Uniontown, OH on January 10, 1935 to John F. and Martha B. (Clark) Bloss. She attended North Canton Hoover High School. A dedicated and giving mother and wife, she also worked as a cashier/clerk in many retail stores to help support her family. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul M. Dazey "PD"; her children, Garry E. Anderson, Beverly S. Anderson, Teresa M. (Larry) Watters, John F.P. (Christy) Dazey, Frank W. (Brenda) Dazey, John M. (Debbie) Dazey, Candi S. (Mark) McRobie and Kevin L. (Ngoc) Dazey. She was also blessed with 32 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Terry E. Anderson, Larry E. Anderson, Jerry E. Anderson, Paul A. Dazey and Timothy L. Dazey along with 5 sisters and 5 brothers.

Rose was brimming with personality, and lived every day with passion. She loved her family with all her being and was truly a friend to all. She was a committed lifetime member of both the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary of West Jefferson, OH. She was dubbed by PD as "Jungle Rose" for her skill as a gardener and fondness of flowers and butterflies. Rose also loved her pets and couldn't resist a good word search book. She has left many lasting wonderful memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at Rader McDonald Tidd Funeral Home 1355 W. Main St. in West Jefferson on Monday, November 28. There will be a visitation time from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Rose will be laid to rest, following the service, at Hampton Cemetery. The family would also like to invite friends to a reception at the West Jefferson V.F.W.
