Rosemary Travis (80), of London, OH passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, with family by her side. Rosemary was born in London, OH on November 21, 1943, to Delbert and Isabelle (Patterson) Travis. She is survived by her children, Mike (Debbie) Barnhart, Ron (Nicole) Barnhart, Michelle Gallimore, and Daniel (Amy) Lowe; her grandchildren, Kassandra, Drew, Nathan, Joshua, Dominick and Sophia ; her great-grandchildren, Sammy, Winston, and Wesley; and her siblings, Janice (Ron) Price, Linda (Jim) Daugherty and Phyllis (Arthur) Nutter. Rosemary was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Beachy and Judy Travis; and her brother, Floyd Travis.
Rosemary was a loving, caring, and giving Christian woman. When people would meet her they would instantly fall in love with her loving and caring personality. She was known for being a person who gave so much and always cared for the well-being of everyone else before herself. She took care of many people through her lifetime. She looked forward to the holidays every year. One of her favorite joys was cooking, especially with sugar! The family has said, “Holidays will never be the same.” She also enjoyed her horses, dogs and cats, and cows. She has left many wonderful memories and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends for a visitation and funeral for Rosemary at the Rader McDonald Tidd Funeral Home, 1355 West Main St. in West Jefferson, OH on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Visitation from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and a service at 1:00 PM. Jerry Newman of Community Freewill Baptist Church will be officiating.
