Roy Myers

Roy M. Myers, age 93, of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. He was born in Danville, Ohio, to the late William and Virginia (Smallwood) Myers. Roy enjoyed working on vehicles and was a mechanic by trade, he also loved hunting and fishing. 

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Virginia (Smallwood) Myers; his loving wife Olive Myers; brothers Clyde, Russell, and Warren Myers; sister Mary Burgett; and granddaughter Dawn (Floyd) Harlan. 

Roy is survived by his children: Bobby (Delores) Kitchen, and Larry Kitchen; grandchildren: Katonda (Dan) Dublin, and Bobby Jr. (Shelli) Kitchen; great-grandchildren: Meghan Bosley, Seth Bosley, Branden Dublin, Kasey Dublin, Danielle (Marc) McCallen, and Tyler Kitchen. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, with Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm, at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio, 43162. Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery, West Jefferson, Ohio.
